How to show the «Date of Birth» calendar on the frontend «Create New Customer Account» and «Edit Account Information» pages?

Use the «Customers» → «Customer Configuration» → «Name and Address Options» → «Date of Birth» option in the backend «Stores» → «Configuration» section:

The default value is «No».
Switch the value to «Optional» or «Required» to show the «Date of Birth» control on the frontend «Create New Customer Account» and «Edit Account Information» pages:
