Some acquirers have set up a rule stating that transactions made:
- with the same card;
- for the same amount;
- and within a timeframe of 15 to 20 minutes (depending on the acquirer itself)
will be automatically declined in order to avoid duplicate transactions.
If the two transactions are genuine, we recommend you to wait at least 30 minutes before processing the second transaction.
