[AlphaCommerceHub] Why is a merchant allowed to add a new «pay page», but is not allowed to delete or edit it?

There is no way to delete or edit a pay page (clicking a page’s title only launches the page):

I thought it could be a permission issue, but I do not see any controls to delete even my own pages:

I have got an answer from the AlphaCommerceHub support:

The other pages are inherited from higher levels in our hierarchy of accounts, they are locked down for editing.
If you want to edit a pay page directly for this merchant, you will need to add one first.

I don’t think there is a current way to delete pages from the merchant view, I’ll suggest this as a product enhancement.
