you can enable the visibility of catelog product or reindex and also remove the cache . it will help you Harish.

Can you explain more what issue you’re having? What search, frontend or admin? What is “advanced search”? Do you have any search extensions installed? It’s hard for anyone to help if your information is limited.

Thanks for reply Mr Brian Pitt , Actually quick search is not working on front-end but advance search is working perfect , i am not understand what is missing in back-end dashboard, please help me , i am in very critical situation.

I think there are many product attributes which have the value Yes for Use in Search. That is why Magento is searching in all those attributes and if it is finding the string anywhere, it is showing in results.

For testing, set No for Use in Search for all other attributes except name and sku and do a reindexing after it.

If it works, set Yes for Use in Search for only attributes which you really want to use in search.

i am not understand if any issues in attribute visibility than why advance search is working .
