«Add to Column Options» (is_used_in_grid) is a new Magento 2 option (absent in Magento 1.x).
Select “Yes” to add this attribute to the list of column options in the product grid.
Mark this ‘Yes’ if you want to see this attribute in the admin panel product grid (Products -> Catalog)
