How to allow (or deny) the visitors to buy without a registration? (the «guest checkout»)

1. Open the backend «Stores» → «Configuration» page.

• Go to the «Sales» → «Checkout» section.
• Locate the «Checkout Options» → «Allow Guest Checkout» option and set it to the proper value («Yes» or «No»).
