How to generate a key for the Google Maps Geocoding API?

This instruction is intended for setting up my Magento 2 extensions which require this API.
For now, the following extensions require this API:

  • «Moip» payment extension

If this instruction is too complex for you, then you can use my ready API Key: AIzaSyBj8bPt0PeSxcgPW8vTfNI2xKdhkHCUYuc.
It is restricted to the explicitly approved websites, so before using it please provide me your website domain.
It will not work without the approval.
